I've fished the Kenai River at least a dozen times over the past several years and have fished with a number of guides. I've seen various techniques and methods used to catch king salmon, most of them effective. Although Ed used methods that seemed a little unconventional to me at the time, his method produced results and enabled me to catch the largest king salmon of my life, about 53 pounds! I was pleased, and so were the other 3 clients who each brought a king to the boat that day. One angler released his small king. It was a most enjoyable day on the Kenai for all of us. It was a day I will never forget. Thanks Ed!
