Our visitors are frequently blessed with an abundance of wildlife sightings and photo opportunities. While fishing on the Kenai, we will often see moose, caribou, bears, wolves, coyotes, river otters, and mink. Eagles are a daily sight with nesting birds and eaglets often visible in June. All sorts of water fowl call the Kenai home. Other predatory birds are frequently visible along the banks of the Kenai such as osprey and kingfishers. On the saltwater fishing excursions, it is possible to see humpback, minke, gray, beluga and pilot whales, porpoise, sea otter, sea lion, puffins and more. |
